Zeggz Amazing Eggs

A place to grab breakfast on the go.

Zeggz was a very serve-yourself type of restaurant.

The service was almost nonexistent due to the way the restaurant was set up. My food choice was very busy and overwhelming.

When we went into Zeggz we went grabbed a menu, found what we wanted and ordered. After we ordered they gave us a number to put on our table and we got our own drinks out of a fountain drink machine or we had the option of sweet/unsweet tea or coffee. When our food was brought out the food runner asked us if we needed anything else for our meal.

My food looked very put together and organized when it came out on the plate. I got the “Picasso Omelet” which included “3 eggs-whipped, chorizo, jalapeno, cilantro, cotija, pepper jack, sriracha sour cream, avocado (and) salsa with a side” as my side I chose the hashbrown casserole. With my meal came with toast. As I started eating I thought I really enjoyed what I had ordered, but as I continued the omelet was really overwhelming and there was too much going on inside. I am a big fan of spicy food, but something was just a little too spicy about this.

The atmosphere of Zeggz was very “do it yourself” which is not a bad thing. I do not recommend going with a big group of people because it is very hard to find a seat that will accommodate to the group.

This place is great to go and grab something for breakfast, but I would suggest to get something a little simpler than I got. I would rate this place a 7/10 because I really enjoyed the do it yourself aspect, but I should’ve ordered something else more within my comfort zone.
