A slow start in the land.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are not off to a hot start this season. Through the first ten games, they were under 500.

Through the first ten games of the NBA season, the Cleveland Cavaliers are twelfth in the East with a 4-6 record. The Cavs just can’t seem to find the answer, they have four players this season averaging double figures. Those players including LeBron James, Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, and Kyle Korver. Even though it’s the very beginning of the season, could this slow start set the tone for the rest?

Bleacher report put out a quote of Lebron saying, “What month is this?… October? I’m not about to go crazy over it right now,” said James. One shocking loss that the Cavs suffered this season was to the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets, who had the third pick in last years draft, but the traded it to the Celtics, went 20-62 last season. Finishing last in the Eastern Conference.

Recently the Cavs try to bounce back from their slow start with a 130-122 victory over the Washington Wizards. James had 57 points in the win. After the game, he said he’s the best he’s felt in his career now. Which is good for the Cavs if he’s putting up numbers like those every night.

Could this slow start maybe be because of the Kyrie Irving trade over the offseason? There is no way to tell, maybe just by coincidence. The Celtics have the best record in the East being 10-2. Irving with the Celtics is averaging 22 points per game and 5.7 assists. When will the Cavs start to pick it up?
