Devin Booker sets fire as he marks a franchise record.

Booker was “on fire” Friday night as he dropped 70 points.

The 70 point game set an NBA record after Booker’s incredible game, he set a new franchise scoring title for the Phoenix Suns. There is some controversy with the game. Some people think that his 70 points were overrated. However, Kobe Bryant compliments Booker’s game and compares Booker to himself.

The Suns have a new franchise leader in scoring. This is something that only five other NBA players in history have done. He is also the youngest player in NBA history to score that many points.

After his 70 point game he started to receive some hate on Twitter and other sites. Some people were saying that he does not deserve the credit because the Sun’s goal was to get him to score 70, not to actually try and win the game. Celtics starting point guard Isaiah Thomas is someone who was not impressed by Bookers game. Thomas was slightly angered by the fact that Celtic fans were cheering for Booker.

Bryant was a big supporter of Booker’s 70 point game Friday night. He congratulated Booker the day after and compared Booker to Bryant himself. He has supported and talked about Booker before. Even comparing Booker and Bryant playing against each other to when Jordan and Bryant playing against each other when Bryant was younger, both trying to outshine their role model.
