Katie Huffman , Editor-in-Chief

This is Katie Huffman and she is the Livewire’s editor-in-chief. She is currently a senior, making this her third and final year on staff. She is also in the National Honors Society and is the member-at-large for her school’s Quill and Scroll chapter. Huffman also serves as the vice president of the Southern Interscholastic Press Association. She took journalism because of her passion for helping others, which she lives out both through her writing and running the publication.

Junior Emma Wright moving the ball up the field. Wright was selected for the 6th Region All-Tournament Team.  I’m proud of us coming back even stronger than last year and winning the region again. We had a great run this season and a better record than seen before. I’m also super proud of the unity we’ve had as a team. There’s never a moment when I don’t feel like I’m not just hanging out and having a good time with a group of friends, said Wright.
