I’m Brodie Curtsinger, and I have been a magician for the past three to four years. This is a card trick that I’ve been doing ever since I started, that is involved no sleight of hand, but fools almost every time. 

This card trick video will be using terms such as a cut: a move where you take the first half and put it on the bottom half. A key card: a card in the deck that you need to know about at all times. Impromptu: a card trick that involves no set up and very little sleight of hand, maybe none. 

This card tricks holds a very special place for me; back when I started magic, I knew nothing about it. I was watching videos, and I came across this trick. The person giving this tutorial to me, never clarified that the “key card” could be different, I thought it always had to be the nine of hearts. Turns out, it didn’t, and I just thought that was the funniest thing in the world, so I would make my favorite card the nine of hearts. So, this exact trick that I’m about to teach you (or have already taught you), is what gave me my favorite card.
