The boys soccer team continues their winning streak this season.

The boys soccer team played John Hardin on Tuesday. They then played Whitefield on Thursday. The Chargers are preparing for two games this week.

Tuesday, Sept. 17, the team played John Hardin at home. The Chargers won 2-1 with goals scored by senior Noah Pressley and junior Xavier Glauber. Yellow cards were issued to Pressley and junior Logan Clark. This game increased their overall season record to 14 wins, zero losses and 1 tie. “I think we worked together pretty well, had some clean passes, and won 2-1,” said Glauber.

Thursday, Sept. 19, the boys played at Whitefield and won 10-0. The game was called at 50’. Goals were scored by senior Zak Perdew, senior Evan Wright, senior Blake Dattilo, junior Xavier Glauber, freshman Colin Elder and senior Joseph Osbourne. This game brought the overall season record to 15 wins, zero losses and 1 tie. 

This upcoming week the boys have two games. The first game is Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Bardstown. The second game Thursday, Sept. 26, at home against Fern Creek. “Working forward we can improve and fix those mistakes to become a stronger team,” said senior, Grayson Adams.
