Freshman Nolan Brown trying to wrap his head around how the magic trick was possible. Mar. 29, Brown was shown a magic trick, and was fooled speechless. “I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless,” said Brown, “Ten (out of ten), because I didn’t know how it was done.”

Getting one thing right is great, but getting two things right, is unbelievable.

Freshman Nolan Brown watched as I got his first card, out of nowhere, and then got a random card he thought of.

Brown did enjoy watching the magic and was completely fooled. He does believe that the trick was carried out in a great manner. If Brown had to hire someone for entertainment, he for sure would hire me as the entertainment, like a magician.

Brown was completely bewildered on how in the world the trick was possible. “I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless,” said Brown, “Really fooled. I don’t know.” During the trick, I laid down a card on a table at the beginning, he then picked a card by saying stop wherever he wanted, then the card was put back into a random place in the deck, he then was told to lie about what his card was, and from that, I got his selected card. To find out what that card was on the table, watch the video above.

Brown does not think that he could do it himself if he knew how the trick was done. “No (he wouldn’t do it), because I’m too lazy,” said Brown. Brown said that in a joking manner.

On a scale from zero to 10, Brown believes that it was a 10, when it comes to him being entertained because he is fooled. “Ten, because I didn’t know how it was done,” said Brown.

Brown did not have any tips for me. Brown also believed that this wasn’t a big highlight to this coronavirus caused break, because “the coronavirus is fake,” in his opinion.

Behind the camera, there were a couple of Brown’s friends, and they were junior Ethan Morris and sophomore Cyrus Falco. There was also Brown’s sister, junior Jena Brown. When the trick was over, you could hear their shock, and they started clapping.

With Nolan Brown knowing me ever since the beginning of my magic career, and him being one of the first-ever people I did a magic trick too, he has thought that I have improved. “Yeah (I have improved), because you used to be really slow at it,” said Nolan Brown.

Now, fun fact, the educated guesstimate of the start of my magic career was Sept. 24, 2016. I was actually hanging out with Nolan Brown, along with another one of our friends, earlier that day. He really has been there since the very beginning, but we have been friends for around the past 12 years, or so.

Now, Nolan Brown would hire me as a form of entertainment for an event, and he thinks that others should too. “Sure (he would hire me), because you’re good at magic, and you know a lot of tricks,” said Nolan Brown, “Yeah (others should hire me), because you’re good at it (magic).”

Nolan Brown would definitely be interested in seeing another magic trick, from me, if we got the chance to do one. “Yeah, because you would probably force me to watch another one,” said Nolan Brown. He said that in a joking manner, with in the past, me always really trying to show him magic tricks.

Now, if you’re interested in seeing a magic trick from me, and getting to be on, “Brodie’s Monthly Magic,” or you have a friend that you think would be interested in that, then you can email me at [email protected].
