Old Fashioned Backyard Beatdown

What was considered a rivalry was kind of one-sided.

The Bullitt East Chargers annihilated the Spencer County Bears 56-8. It was an absolute beatdown. The Chargers jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the 1st Quarter and never stepped off the gas, burying Spencer County in every aspect of the game.

The game, as to many, came to quite a surprise to hear about the final score, being that the Chargers had previously lost 52-0 to Butler and 44-10 to Central Hardin.

To put an exclamation mark on the first half, Quarterback #14 Blake Rhoades lobbed one up into the end zone where Wide Receiver #36 Ty Hawkins jumped up basically over the defender’s shoulder to make an outstanding catch, basically summing up how the game went for each team.

Bullitt East will have the week off and then will go on the road yet again to play Shelby County, looking to make another statement.
