A well written informative article. What angers me about this case the most is the police dept. I don’t how they could just easily dismiss the parents. They are in full panic mode describing an out of character action perform by their child and also a chaotic scene at her car. For whatever reason the moment they walked into that precinct, those cops label them as a particular kind of people and felt their daughter would be back after she finishes running the streets. As far as I’m concerned the Bullitt Co Sherrifs Dept is as much responsible for the death of Jessica as her perpetrator is.

My question is if the family knew he was abusing the children why in the world did they let him keep coming around? If they knew what he had been doing to the kids he should have been the first one they looked at. And the police not following up on that letter….sounds like they were afraid of arresting the wrong man again. May the ones involved have nightmares from HELL for the rest if their lives.

I remember when Jessica went missing and when she was found. Her body was dumped about a mile from where I lived at the time. It was unnerving to think that could happen so close to home. Thank you for laying the facts out so clearly. Prayers for peace and comfort for Jessica’s friends and family.

It’s sad to know that people actually take time out of their day just to this. It’s sick and twisted but great article!
