The Dungeons Gate

Dungeons and Gates lead to a break from the game.

The new gate was built to block off the rest of the school from the dungeon during sports events.

The gate was put up so that during soccer or other games people would be able to walk to the bathroom. The dungeon is the only part of the school that will be accessible during games. The gate is to be primarily used during soccer games, but may be closed during other games.

“The gate is to be used primarily for soccer games” said Troy Barr, Athletic Director.

The gate was set up over the four day weekend. The gate has been an idea for a couple of years now and it was finally set in place. The gate is a pull down gate, similar to a garage door. It will only be closed during sporting events.

The gate will only be closed after school if there is a sporting event, it will be open after school. Only the bathrooms will be accessible to the public after school.  No other part of the school is accessible during sports events.

“The gate should not have an affect on students at all” said Mr. Huber, Vice Principal.

Administrators hope that the change has nothing but positive effects for the community. As well as ensuring that it isn’t an obstacle for students during the day.
