The team is only getting better and better.

In the past week the Bullitt East cross country team traveled and competed in only one event.

Moving further into the season the team has been improving more and more in each competition. Starting off the week on Tuesday the team ran in the Bernie Keene Invitational held at Nelson County High school.

Tuesday, September 13, the girls ran exceptionally well. Top Girl on the team was Lindsey Spencer sophomore, as she placed 2nd out of 33 with a time of 22:43. Not too far behind was Abigail Clarkson sophomore, as the 7th runner to Finish clocking in at 25:34. Cassie Leo eighth grader, came in 12th place with a time of 26:06. Meredith Thornsberry junior, ended the race with a place of 23rd and a time of 28:59.


Top boy this week was Josh Wetzel sophomore, clocking in with a time of 20:13. Naming him the 23rd runner out of 80 to end the race. Next was Cole Davenport sophomore, coming in at 21:13. Making him the 39th one to finish. Then was Jurome Dela Cruz sophomore, with a time of 22:08. Blake Hourigan sophomore, came next as he ran his 5k in 24:16. While Malikhi Ly-Hughes senior,  ended the race in 25:50.
Everyone is doing nothing but improving.
