Multiple NBA teams are doing  better or worse than they were last year with a lot of teams having new rosters.

Many NBA players have come out of their shells this year and are becoming lead scorers. The 2016 NBA’s rookie class are making average stats at the beginning of the season. Many teams in the NBA are being over or underrated.

Some NBA players have developed into “Superstars” this year such as Anthony Davis, an already excellent NBA player who is now leading the league in scoring. Westbrook has also become one of the NBA’s top players as he is averaging a triple double and is the league’s second best scorer. Jrue Holiday, a starter on the Pelicans, has come out of his shell this season averaging 22 points. Top players from the 2015 season are still making their mark on the NBA as all stars such as Lebron James and Stephen Curry are both contenders for the MVP of the year.

Many of the NBA’s rookies are playing mediocre and many of them are out due to injuries. Brandon Ingram, the Los Angeles Lakers top draft pick, was drafted second and is only averaging 7.8 points a game. Ben simmons, drafted first overall to the 76ers, has been unable to play during the beginning of the season due to an ankle injury. Joel Embiid, drafted to the 76ers two seasons ago,  has just started his first season in the NBA and is a top nominee for rookie of the year.

A lot of teams in the NBA are under and over performing than projected. The Golden State Warriors are an under performing team as in the beginning of the year fans believed they would beat their previous record of 73-9 but the Warriors have already lost two games. Teams like the lakers were completely underrated as fans believed that they would once again be the worst team in the NBA, the lakers are projected 8th seed in their conference and are doing exceptionally well.
