Duke Does it Again

Mike Krzyzewski shows his recruiting power on Saturday picking up the No. 2 player in the class of 2018.

Williamson announced his college decision Saturday on national Television, he had a choice between Duke, Clemson, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, and South Carolina; which are very big Division 1 schools.

High school senior Zion Williamson shocks everyone when he committed to Duke. According to 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions, Williamson had an 85 percent chance of going to  Clemson a 4 percent chance of going to Kentucky, and 4 percent if going to Duke.

Williamson told reporters “Coach K (Krzyzewski) is just the most legendary coach that ever coached college basketball. I feel like going to Duke University, I can learn a lot from him,” said Williamson.

With Williamson attending Duke next season,  Duke will now have the No. 1 player RJ Barrett, No. 2 Williamson, No. 3 Cam Reddish and No. 10 Tre Jones.  According to ESPN, it’s the first time in ESPN’s rankings that a school land the top three prospects in one class. It shouldn’t be a surprise why Duke is number one next year in college basketball.

Big Kentucky fan Samuel Brangers had some thoughts on his decision “I’m disappointed but I feel like Zion Williamson made a good decision seems like he would rather win a National Championship then do great things in the NBA and make more money”. Said Brangers.

A lot of Kentucky fans were very upset over Williamson’s decision. Like Cameron Waddle who also feels duke will even win the National Championship 2019.“ I hate Duke even more than before, I think that Duke will win the National Championship next year and maybe this year,” said Waddle.
