Bullitt East Lady Chargers had 4 soccer games planned the past week, however due our heat wave and the leftovers of hurricane Ida only two of those games got played.

August 23 there was a home game against Male, it ended in a loss for Bullitt East 3-2. The first half ended in a tie after Male scored in the first 13 minutes and Bullitt East scored right before halftime. After halftime Male managed to score twice in a row, towards the last ten minutes of the game Bullitt East scored again. The last two minutes were filled with Male kicking the ball out of bounds in order to stop Bullitt East from making any progress, as ungraceful as it was they succeeded and the game ended right before another throw in could happen.

August 25, the game against Pleasure Ridge Park was cancelled due to the heat.

August 28, home game against Elizabethtown, Etown scored first and was shortly followed by our Lady Chargers tying the game up 1-1. Before halftime Lady Chargers took the lead and were able to keep until after 20 minutes left in the second half Etown made a comeback and beat the girls 4-2.

August 30, a home game against Thomas Nelson was canceled due to rain. The next upcoming game is on September 1, am away game against North Bullitt. September 4, we’ll have a home game against Franklin county.
