Starting the season off strong.

The Lady Chargers are starting of undefeated.

Their first game of the season the girls played against Presentation. Later that week, they placed against Pope John Paul. When the lady chargers are off of the court, they are giving back to others.

The Lady Chargers played against Presentation Dec. 3, taking home the win with a final score of 84-19.

Dec. 4, the girls played against Pope John Paul, taking home their second win of the season with the final score of 62-44. “Some of the highlights would be our communication and our chemistry on the court. The weakest point would be coming out from half time and not being ready and letting up,” said senior Madison Thornton.

While the Lady Chargers are constantly practicing, they still find time to give back to the community. Players and coaches spent the afternoon shopping for gifts to donate to the Angel Tree, a program to help provide Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children. “As a team, it gives us time to work together to help someone out as well as bond together,” said Thornton.

Their next game will be at Pleasure Ridge Park at 6 p.m. Dec. 11.
