This is Emma Whitehouse and she is the Livewire’s Co-Photography Editor. She is currently a senior, making this her second year on staff. She joined journalism because of her strong passion for photojournalism. Along with journalism, she created and runs Photography Club, the Bullitt East FFA reporter, in Beta Club and Project Unify.

English teacher Leslie Lloyd had her students write down their resolutions for the new year. She encourages her students to make smaller goals and then work up to their overall goal to help them achieve their resolution. If you want something, it is great if you hope for it, but you have to work for it. If you don’t constantly remind yourself then it is not actually going to change, said Lloyd.

The Lady Chargers pose next to their trophy after being titled the champions of the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational. The girls played a total of three games, winning all three of them. The win did give us the confidence, but just the fact of going down there and having team bonding, our team grew closer together which overall has a positive impact on our game play, said Sarah Ezell.
