Nothing screams ‘individual success’ like being indistinguishable from the person sitting three inches to your left. 

Most seniors spend around $100 on their cap & gown with the tassel for them to wear just a few times for pictures, walk-throughs, and graduation-related things. They all look the same, and there’s no individuality, so in everything, group-wise, everyone looks the same. In this journey to graduation, each person has taken on individually, and at graduation, they deserve the right to represent their individuality.

They aren’t all beginning our new chapter of life the same way. People are going to different colleges with different careers, trade schools, straight into the workforce, the military, or taking a break from everything. A good way to showcase what they are doing after high school at graduation is their caps. They could show people what they have been preparing for their future.

There could be rules and regulations on what they are allowed to do. There shouldn’t be any drugs/alcohol, weapons/violence, sexual content, or anything offensive like profanity. No offensive things, because they can be taken in all different ways. It should be nothing that is involved with things like cults, logos that have bad meanings, and nothing political. Nothing political because that just can be a whole mess that would happen because of students’ differing beliefs. Religion isn’t offensive because everyone is entitled to it, and none of that is going to cause conflict between people if they have a Bible quote or a symbol related to it, like a cross. Some could say it’s the same thing with political things; everyone is entitled, but that can be more offensive, and people can get around having something violent or profanity.

They could set up a day where, a few days before, anyone who is decorating them has to bring them in to be approved, like one of the days we do graduation practice, since they will already have it on.
