The mathematical chances of Sebastian Kaufman being ordinary are slim to none.

Kaufman, currently a sophomore at Bullitt East, was one of only sixty students selected for the Morehead State University’s Craft Academy. He earned this opportunity by excelling in all subjects related to math and science, and is excited to see what it is about.

Kaufman denied to be interviewed, and in return we can only use facts. Out of 120 students that applied, he was chosen to live on campus and go through rigorous courses in so that he can eventually reach his goal of being a physicist . With this program, he will graduate with 60 a minimum of sixty credit hours, and will likely be accepted to further his college career at Morehead, or another State University after finishing his junior and senior year in the program.

Much Like Gatton Acadmeny, the Craft Academy is elite and only takes the most dedicated students. The Craft Academy Class of 2017 has a tough road ahead of them, and will be tested to see if they can handle this accelerated life style.

Being above average is hard, and applying oneself is even harder. Bullitt East wishes him the best and hopes that there will be more opportunities like this for gifted students.
