The calm before the storm.

Last week, the volleyball team entered the postseason and began practicing for regionals. With the matchups being released Friday, Oct. 23, the team got the weekend to practice and plan out how they would take on Butler High School.

“I can not predict and say 100% sure we will win, nobody can, but I believe in my team and I can tell you we will work our hardest.” sophomore volleyball player Cara-Lynn McCord said when asked if she thought her team would be able to beat Butler.

Monday, Oct. 26, they played against Butler Highschool where they won 3-1. “I was really happy because we looked really good. The players all had fun and they never got down on themselves. I usually am so involved in doing stats that I forget to cheer but last night was so great that I was cheering and saying ‘c’mon win this point,’” manager Bailey Korfhage said.

The team will take on either Holy Cross or North Bullitt at Valley High School Tuesday, Oct. 27.
