Recovering from a shortcoming.

After a tough loss away at John Hardin, they won at home against Breckinridge County.

The boys took on John Hardin Nov. 30 and lost 65-60. They played against Breckinridge County Dec. 3 and won 67-47. They look forward to playing Butler Wednesday in a double header.

The boys trailed behind John Hardin by a few points continuously throughout the first half of the game. In the last five minutes of the fourth quarter, the team made a comeback gaining twelve points making the score 65-60, John Hardin. After scoring a layup, senior Tucker Blanford twisted his ankle causing him to sit out the last five minutes.“The team struggled with the pressure their defense put on us because they were really fast, athletic and long so it was hard for our guys to move the ball like we usually can,” Blanford said. The boys were able to recover and win by 20 against Breckinridge County. “I contributed to help our team win by moving the ball well enough to get my teammates open and I was able to hit some shots of my own,” freshman Nate Wilson said. They were able to consistently score and keep a lead on Breckinridge County.

The boys will play Spencer County at home Friday at 7:30 p.m.
