Postseason is approaching.

The boys’ basketball team only has two more regular-season games this season.

The basketball team took on two teams last week. That’s two more wins added to the record. The boys’ season is nearing its end.

Tuesday, Feb. 11 the Chargers hit the road and took on Grayson County. East led the whole game, never letting Grayson County get ahead. The final score was 59-44, Chargers. Senior Zak Perdew had 20 points that game.

Saturday, Feb. 15 the boys played the Southern Trojans on the home court. The Chargers won that game 86-76, with Perdew leading the game with 26 points.

Perdew was voted Kentucky Preps player of the week for the week of Feb. 9-15. Perdew said, “It was a great honor. I’m glad I was recognized and I’m truly grateful to Charger nation and everyone who voted.”
