Dancing onto the stage, showcasing hard work and dedication
The Bullitt East dance team is officially starting its winter season, consisting of competitions and performances. Each routine takes hours of hard work and dedication, ensuring their performance is competition ready.
A successful season ended, and a new one began. The team hopes to accomplish a few things, such as improving their routine, performing it confidently, and strengthening the team overall.
Last season, the team placed high at multiple competitions, showcasing their talent. It was considered one of their best, giving hope to look forward to the new season’s progress. “We’ve progressed last season compared to our previous seasons. I hope we can keep that progress up,” sophomore student on the dance team, Khloe Brown said.
With a successful season also comes hardships for everybody. The dance team has faced ups and downs, but they’ve worked through these moments to perfect their dance, ensuring nothing gets in their way. “I would like to achieve putting our dance out on the floor because we’ve had a lot of ups and downs this season,” Brown said.
With hopes of another strong season also comes the desire to reach team goals. “We have had a really good routine. I hope to strengthen our team even if we don’t place. I hope to get to where we want to be,” junior on the dance team, Savannah Adair said.
