Weekly Recap Boys Soccer Week of 9/12

A long week of work.

The Varsity Chargers Boys Soccer team was busy this past week, playing in five games. Bullitt East started out against Bardstown on the road. They fell 5-0 in that game. They had a short break before they hit the road again against Nelson County, falling again 6-0.

The bad start to the week was countered when the Chargers traveled to Muhlenberg County over the weekend in the State Farm Classic, playing in three games, while getting a win in all three and bringing home the trophy. They won against Muhlenberg Co 2-0, Webster Co 3-2, and Trigg Co 3-2. and then ended with a easy win against Whitefield.

“The Trigg Co game as a very physical game, a lot of pushing and arguing,” said sophomore Zak Perdew. “I was so surprised we did that good bouncing back from the two blowout games.”
