Canceling COVID.

Bullitt East has the game against Fairdale canceled.

The girls had their game against Fairdale canceled due to COVID-19. They came back and won against Jeffersontown 3-0. They continue to stay busy with more games coming this week.

Multiple players had COVID-19 on Fairdale’s team, requiring them to cancel the game. Players were disappointed but it just made them more eager to play Jeffersontown. Kate Cissell was ready to play because she knows that their practice pays off. “We all play this sport because we love it, it’s our passion! It’s always disappointing when a game is canceled because we know we work hard at practice,” Cissell said.

The Lady Chargers won against Jeffersontown on Thursday, Aug. 26. They won the first set 25-12, 25-14 and 25-9. “It was a fun game to play and we got to throw some hitting plays in,”  Grace Satterfield said.

The volleyball team has an away game Monday, Aug. 30 at Atherton, against Atherton. There is also a home game against Kentucky Country Day on Thursday, Sept. 2.
