With seniors like Brooke Morris and Josslyn Graves leading with energy and encouragement, and underclassmen stepping up with confidence, the Lady Chargers have laid a strong foundation for the future. Their teamwork, resiliency, and love for the game have set the tone for what’s to come in Bullitt East Volleyball.
The Lady Chargers volleyball team was one filled with growth, determination, and unforgettable moments. From their first serve to their final point, the team continued to improve each game, showing resilience and teamwork. Despite tough matchups and competitive tournaments, the Volleyball team played with heart and confidence, proving that their hard work in practice paid off. Every player, from seniors to young underclassmen, contributed to the team’s success, making this one of the set foundations for the future of Bullitt East Volleyball. Senior Brooke Morris said, “All of our games played an important role in shaping our team, whether it was against rivals like North Bullitt or good teams like Mercy.”

Senior Josslyn Graves said, “When we went through tough patches, we all came together as a team and we worked out our problems, and we got right back to playing the game we love.”

Brooke was known for keeping spirits high and bringing laughter to every practice, while Josslyn was admired for her welcoming personality and ability to make everyone feel included. Together, they set the standard for what it means to be a Lady Charger: selfless, determined, and team-first. Their legacy will live on through the younger players they’ve inspired, who now carry the torch into the next season. Josslyn, at the beginning of the season, said, “I hope the younger say I’m exclusive and say I’ve been welcoming,” and she definitely showed by being a good senior leader.
