New paths lead to many new experiences, and this brings a new face to Bullitt East Administration.
On Monday, September 29, Bullitt East officially announced Erin Waldridge as the newest Assistant Principal, entering her 16th year in education and 4th as an administrator. Coming from Washington County as an AP along with prior Special Education (LBD/MSD) background in Bardstown and all throughout JCPS, Waldridge brings a plethora of skill and knowledge that makes her the total package. In addition, she’s a proud member of the Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL) Cohort 8.
With Charger Nation being a Unified Champion School when it comes to inclusion, Waldridge was immediately drawn to this culture and way of life. Through this, she’s able to grow her craft and passion for students.
“Bullitt East is a school I’ve always known about, along with the great culture of inclusion that goes on here,” Waldridge said.
Along with a very unified environment, this choice was perfect for Waldridge as the commute from work to home is 15-20 minutes, which helps with the overall growth and connection between students, teachers, and families.
Coming into the school and getting a feel for everything, learning “The Charger Way” and being a part of the growing family is a big excitement factor for this new chapter. Looking ahead at personal and school goals, Waldridge looks forward to having a positive impact on those around her.
“I’m excited to help grow all the great things that are already going on here, in and out of the building, and find new ways that I can utilize my skill set,” Waldridge said.
Charger Nation welcomes Waldridge to the family and wishes her the best of luck in this new chapter with her excellence, leadership, and expertise.
