The curse of the Clippers may be real.

The Los Angeles Clippers seem to be a cursed NBA team with the loss in the first round of the playoffs, this may be true.

The Clippers have been very unlucky in the past few years with injury. They can not seem to make a good playoff run. With Chris Paul getting older and their top three player looking into free agency, the Clippers may be looking at a rebuild sooner than they think.

For the Clippers, the past two seasons have been hit with injuries. In the 2016 playoffs Chris Paul was out which caused them to lose to the Golden State Warriors. This 2017 Postseason Blake Griffin was injured which caused them to lose a three-two lead to the Utah Jazz.

Even with NBA stars such as Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan can’t seem to bring the Clippers to the conference finals. Even with this trio they cannot be compared to trios such as the Cavaliers or Warriors due to the fact that they cannot make it past the second round. The team has never made it to the conference finals.

The Clippers big three may be splitting up soon causing the Clippers to go into a rebuild. Chris Paul only has a year left on his contract but has verbally agreed to stay with the Clippers, but he always has the option to back out of the agreement. Blake Griffin also only has a year left on his contract and he is believed to either resign or find another team to play for. Deandre Jordan is also going into free agency but he is likely to resign.
