A season of Progress for Bullitt East Archers

Progress in every shot

Bullitt East’s archery team continues to have a great overall season. They have learned to overcome many challenges and continue to grow while shooting.

One archer, Sadie Smith, has been able to gain more confidence in herself. “I have struggled this season, but I have seen myself not get inside my head while shooting,” Smith said.

Another Archer, Caleb Masterson, saw himself get better throughout the season through his consistency. “I’ve slowly gotten better over the years, and it’s really showing this year,” Masterson said.

Their improvements have all come from practice and good coaches who are able to help them target their weak points. “They help us overcome any problems,” Masterson said.

Much of this season was focused on getting better, but there were still a lot of fun moments. “My favorite part of this season was getting to shoot with my closest friends,” Smith said.
